The trestle was once the way trains crossed Lake Minocqua into the Island City of Minocqua, Wisconsin. This trestle frames the entry way in to Lake Kawaguesaga from Lake Minocqua. This old trestle is the centerpiece of Lake Minocqua in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Lily Pads
Northern Wisconsin features over 3200 lakes streams and rivers. Also, these areas feature these beautiful marshes. Walk some of the back woods trails and take in the nature.
Bearskin Trail
The Bearskin Trail crosses lakes and marshes providing a wonderful way to view scenic Oneida County in northern Wisconsin. This old railroad trestle serves as the starting point out of downtown Minocqua.

Minocqua Trestle
The Minocqua train trestle is one of my favorite landmarks in the area. In the 50’s and 60’s you could hear the trains coming from miles away and watch the locomotives break through the trees to cross the bridge.
