Missouri has a long history of being a first class wine producing state. The St. Louis area has many great wineries near-by and this is one of my favorite. Chaumette Vinyards and Winery is located in scenic Ste. Genevieve county and features great wine, dining and “chalets” for overnight stays. This is the main building for the winery and is designed after the local “French Creole Colonial” architecture brought to the area by the original settlers.
