If you drive south from the tiny town of Boulder Junction, Wisconsin, you will find Lost Canoe Lake back behind the trees. You have to stop and walk down some trails to experience the beauty of the lake.
The Northwoods of Wisconsin are filled with thousands of lakes all surrounded by forests, a wonderful place for fishing boating and just enjoying the scenery.

Thanks for this info. We have cabins on Oxbow Lake in Vikas County and have been going up to the area for 43 years, but I have never been to Lost Canoe Lake. Will try to go this summer!

There are several access points off K. You have to go down a steep hill to a usually sandy beach. I have always found several canoes at the bottom of the trail. Have fun!
