https://greatrivers.smugmug.com/Galleries/Missouri-Botanical-Garden/i-S5jSktF/A I remember the Climatron, the structure in the background, being built in the late 50’s, early 60’s. It was the first geodesic dome to be used as a conservatory and opened to the public on October 1, 1960 on the grounds of Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. The design of the Climatron greenhouse wasContinue reading “Climatron in green”

Equestrian Sunset

When one finds a scent and heads into the brush, the others spread out knowing the target will run. The secondary hounds try to judge the direction of the prey and attempt to cut it off. During allContinue reading “The Discussion”
Christmas time at Kirkwood Station
The Kirkwood station is a busy place with families traveling to meet with friends and family for the holidays. This photo was something of a surprise. When this was taken, the sun was down and it was dark outside. Three exposures were taken, one under exposed, one over exposed and one at standard exposure. TheseContinue reading “Christmas time at Kirkwood Station”
