St. Louis
Yesterday I had the opportunity to tour our riverfront by Helicopter. Since the purpose was to photograph the area, we flew “doors off” so we could hang out for good shots. Included in this photo is downtown St. Louis, the Gateway Arch, Eads’ Bridge, the Stan Musial Bridge and the Mississippi River. On the horizonContinue reading “St. Louis”

Old Courthouse
My hometown, St. Louis, with our old courthouse and the Gateway Arch behind it. The pathway here is part of the new Kiener Plaza (not sure what was wrong with the old Kiener Plaza). Lots to do and photograph in this area but be sure to get the Arch in the background! This photo wasContinue reading “Old Courthouse”

Llywelyn’s
On Memorial Day I took my wife and Basset Hounds to lunch in St. Louis’ Central West End. This is an eclectic area with lots of interesting restaurants, shops and people. Llywelyn’s is an old restaurant in the area with good food. While we had lunch, the dogs did a little people watching!
Public Opinion
Spectators gather on the mid floors of the Missouri State Capitol and look down onto the main floor where people celebrate the election of their favorite candidate. On night of the “Governor’s Ball” the Capitol is alive with people visiting their representative’s office, celebrating and exploring the vast caverns of the building. The photo wasContinue reading “Public Opinion”
