Here is a photo taken this fall at the St. Louis Art Fair in Clayton, MO. This is a low light photo just using available light. I used a 50mm prime lens at f1.8, 1/100 sec. This photo still came out almost black so processing in Photomatix brought out the highlights and interesting tones.

Waiting for Santa
One more night at the Garden Glow to get some shots missed on my first trip. This is a scene you will take a little effort to find. This is a hand held shot taken at a High ISO of 2000 at 50mm, f3.2. http://greatrivers.smugmug.com/Missouri-Botanical-Garden/i-SFbL6rp
Missouri Botanical Garden Gatehouse
The Missouri Botanical Garden now decorates their grounds for Christmas with lots of great exhibits. Their “Garden Glow” has now become an annual event and brings thousands of people to their facility. The nice people at the botanical garden had a special showing this evening for photographers only. I spent several hours roaming the groundsContinue reading “Missouri Botanical Garden Gatehouse”
Everyone loves Santa
Every year I am honored to be the photographer for Guardian Angel Basset Rescue’s “Photographs with Santa” at St. Louis’ Museum of the Dog. Guardian Angel (GABR) is a very successfulContinue reading “Everyone loves Santa”

The arch is an interesting subject since each angle presents a completely different photo. Every photo can be aContinue reading “Gateway Arch”
Lewis and Clark at Eads Bridge
This is a photo taken a few years ago at Eads Bridge. This photo, like many, was processed with Photomatix and Lightroom. This give the interesting “surreal” look and high-definition. Apparently, the statue of Lewis and Clark has been moved because it spends a lot of time under water due to flooding!
