Lost Canoe Lake

Driving on the back roads of Northern Wisconsin I found a place to pull over. Following a trail to the water there was this small beach with these canoes. This is an interesting area to explore with hidden areas like this, scenic structures and wonderful small towns.

Life Saving Station

This is a Duluth-type life saving station that began operations April 1, 1896, serving the Portes des Morts Passage (more commonly called “Death’s Door”) at the entrance to Green Bay.
