Driving on the back roads of Northern Wisconsin I found a place to pull over. Following a trail to the water there was this small beach with these canoes. This is an interesting area to explore with hidden areas like this, scenic structures and wonderful small towns.

Life Saving Station
This is a Duluth-type life saving station that began operations April 1, 1896, serving the Portes des Morts Passage (more commonly called “Death’s Door”) at the entrance to Green Bay. The Algoma Light or Algoma Pierhead Light is a lighthouse located near Algoma in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. The lighthouse was first established in 1893 as a set of range lights.
Sunrise on North Bay

Sunset on Green Bay creates perfectly cylindrical lens flare. The weather in Door County has been particularly rainy making photography a little hit or miss. Here the sun suddenly peaked out of the clouds to give a stunning sunset.
