This is the opposite view of the previous photo. The memorial faces Kansas City’s Union Station and is on a steep hill so as you walk towards the memorial you can turn around for a spectacular view of the KC skyline. This is a hand held, three shot photo taken while walking up the hill. See how this type of photo is processed: https://greatriversimaging.com/hdr/
Part II of the previous photo. Taken late night from a suite at the Crown Center Hotel. Note the empty parking lot and streets. This is a three shot HDR photo using a coffee table as a tripod. For infomation on HDR photography Click Here.
While in Kansas City for a meeting, I checked into the hotel. Asked if I had a floor preference, I told them the higher the better (always like a view). The clerk handed me the key (card) and up I went and found that I had been given a suite for the price of the discounted meeting price! I thought I would share the view.
This is a three shot HDR photo using an ISO of 200 at f7.1, 24mm and an average shutter speed of 6 seconds. A table was used as the tripod.
Here is another photo from Kansas City’s Crown Center Hotel (see previous post). I took this late enough that there were very few cars in the parking lot. Also, it was very nice of the Union Station people to use interesting red lights on the building. This is a three shot HDR photo using a side table as a tripod.
