Grand Basin

This photo takes you back over 115 years in time. Forest Park’s Grand Basin served as the center of the 1904 World’s Fair. Late Fall in Forest Park

Last weekend I was able to join a group of fox hunters in Pike County, Missouri. The hunters are dressed in full regalia and ride well groomed horses. Lemonade Stand

While poking around some side streets in St. Charles, MO I found this little display of a Lemonade Stand. No one was really there selling anything, it was just sort of an artistic display. There are a lot of antique shops in the area and this was to something to draw your interest.

Chaumette Winery

This is one of many wineries in Missouri. It is located not far from Historic Ste. Genevieve, an original French settlement on the Missouri side of the Mississippi river. Loop Trolley 002

University City’s Loop Trolley. This is an antique streetcar recently installed in the the University City “Loop” area and terminates in Forest Park by the Missouri History Museum (in the background).
