A the moment, a quiet setting at one of St. Charles’ numerous duck hunting clubs. Earlier a storm came through cooling things off and soon after the sunsets the ducks will will be ready to roost and flock into this lake. Currently the lake is occupied by decoys tempting others to join them.

This is one of the many duck clubs along the Mississippi river. Missouri offers one of the best sites in the nation for duck hunting and St. Charles County is no exception. Lemonade Stand

This is one of my favorite photos from Historic St. Charles, Missouri. The main street of St. Charles is lined with the original 18th Century homes and storefronts, all well maintained. This is a little hidden area behind the shops and contains this welcoming patio and the entrance to a large antique shop.

In Historic St. Charles you will an endless stream of historic buildings from the 18th Century. Here you will find interesting shops, restaurants and B&Bs.

Old St. Charles

Downtown St. Charles, Missouri, is a historic area that has restored many of their original shops and homes. Little Hills Cottage

This little B&B is trucked away on busy Main Street in St. Charles, MO. This area is a restored part of 19th Century Missouri and has a lot of historic buildings and shops. From here you can visit excellent restaurants, wineries, shops an more. Two blocks away you can view Missouri River.

Lemonade Stand

While poking around some side streets in St. Charles, MO I found this little display of a Lemonade Stand. No one was really there selling anything, it was just sort of an artistic display. There are a lot of antique shops in the area and this was to something to draw your interest.

Old Town St. Charles, MO is a very well done restoration of a business district. Not only can you shop on Main Street but explore little alleys like this. This is a 3 shot HDR photo.
