The water in this long pool spills over the rocks holding the water back. This a small but scenic waterfall in the canyon. Dogwood Creek flows through this canyon picking up water from springs and falls.
This is one of many waterfalls in Dogwood Canyon. Called the Glory Hole, it is a 2 mile walk from the entrance to the Nature Park. However, the walk is past many multi story and low waterfalls. Dogwood Mill, the entrance to Dogwood Canyon. Built on Indian Creek this is the gateway a scenic walk past waterfalls, bridges and other unique areas.
One of many falls in Dogwood Canyon. This one is popular because it one of the higher waterfalls and you can walk behind it. Probably 10’s of thousands of selfies taken here.
Right out of the gate, this is the first thing you see once you enter Dogwood Canyon. This is a park in Lampe, Missouri with a three mile walk that goes through streams, waterfalls and scenic bridges. For photographers this is a place you could spend days.
This is one of the many waterfalls at Big Cedar Lodge and Dogwood Canyon. It seems that nothing can be built in these two areas without adding a waterfall. In Southwestern Missouri there is a private park (open to the public) called Dogwood Canyon. Filled with waterfalls, unique bridges and scenic vistas, this is a “must visit” place! A 6½ mile paved path lets you see it all. Be sure to bring your camera!
