Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

As promised from the previous post, here is the front of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. The museum is on a harbor on Lake Erie and is in a cluster of other museums and parks. The front is this glass pyramid with an unusual structure in the back. Here isContinue reading “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame”

“No, we ain’t gonna take it”

Now for something a little different… This is a little stairway going up to a cramped display area in the top of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The R&R Hall of Fame is this sort of pyramid building with smaller spaces towards the top. Working our way through the building towards the top,Continue reading ““No, we ain’t gonna take it””

Sunset on the Past

The Chain of Rocks Bridge allowed the famous Route 66 to cross the Mississippi River near St. Louis. Now it is closed to automobile traffic and is a bike/walking path. Every Christmas season they decorate the grounds for an event called the “Garden Glow.” As always this is an extravaganza of sights and sounds. You can follow the trails around the grounds for one amazing holiday scene after another.Continue reading “Are you ready for Christmas?”

Snowy bridge

The lines of the foot bridge in Forest Park always make it an interesting subject. We have been receiving a lot of snow over the past few days so I headed over to the park to see if there were any interesting shots. Down, at my feet were  bunch of geese honking at me (youContinue reading “Snowy bridge”
