One of the many county courthouses across our country. This is the Page County Courthouse in Clarinda, IA. Clarinda is a picturesque town in Southwestern Iowa, the hometown of Glenn Miller and adopted hometown of baseball legend Ozzie Smith. Early morning on the Mississippi. This is a scene from a retreat facility in southern St. Louis County. Set on a bluff above the river, the view extends for miles. Wilson’s Restaurant

Forest Park’s, and perhaps St. Louis’s, most famous statue is of Louis IX of France. This photo was taken in front of the St. Louis Art Museum early after sunset. Inauguration Day

Missouri State Capitol preparing for the inauguration of a new governor and seating of all of the new elected officials. This special day gave me an excuse to visit our historic capitol building and explore its hallways for hidden treasures.
