Little Chapel

Hope WIlderness Chapel

This little chapel sits on the edge of a stream with a waterfall in the background. The surrounding Dogwoods make this an ideal location. Click on the photo and then click the “i” for the location.

Dogwood Mill

Dogwood Canyon Mill

This is the entrance to Dogwood Canyon. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a one-of-a-kind experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers of all ages. Covering 10,000 acres of pristine Ozark Mountain landscape, the park has miles of crystal-clear trout streams, dozens of cascading waterfalls, ancient burial caves, unique hand-built bridges and bottomless, blue-green pools.

With 9 miles of trails, be prepared to enjoy a nice walk.

On my last visit I took over 500 photos. If you want to photograph the waterfalls, use a DSLR camera with at least a 6 Stop Neutral Density filter. A tripod is a must. You can see the result on some nearby posts.

Falls in Dogwood Canyon

Indian Cliff Falls

Right out of the gate, this is the first thing you see once you enter Dogwood Canyon. This is a park in Lampe, Missouri with a three mile walk that goes through streams, waterfalls and scenic bridges.

For photographers this is a place you could spend days.

The Hunt is On!

cedar Valley Farms

This is part of the Three Creek Bassets pack that competes nationally in their hunting and tracking skills. This pack hunts every Sunday afternoon, September through April. Watching them get onto a scent and follow it is something to see!

Rockers

Big Cedar Lodge

This is a favorite photo of mine from Big Cedar Lodge. This would have been just as the sun was setting over Table Rock Lake and this is the upper floor of Falls Lodge. This is a great place to visit with an incredible amount of things to do. Or you could just watch the sunset.
