Early fall seems to be a good time to find Sunflowers in Door County. This is a field at the Wood Orchard Market in Egg Harbor. The market is busy with all kinds of home made food and other things.

Sunny Sunflowers always seem to make an interesting picture. I have been keeping a lookout for several years for a local patch and found these at Columbia Bottoms nature preserve in St. Louis County, MO. This is right at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers which makes it a special area.
