This is an antique streetcar recently installed in the the University City “Loop” area and terminates in Forest Park by the Missouri History Museum (in the background). Loop Trolley on the Run
After years of Development, cost overruns and delays, the “Loop Trolley” begins it second day of full runs.The trolley runs from Forest Park’s History Museum to the University City Loop Area (Delamr Loop). On this day, it was packed with people and the Loop was buzzing. One day I will have to take a ride….

One of the “claims to fame” of my home town of University City, Missouri is that Chuck Berry lived near-by and performed here regularly. Here is a statue of him across the street from Blueberry Hill where you could find him about once a month until about the last year of his life.

I did not have to go too far for this photo! I live in University City and this is an area here called “The Loop,” an area filled with bars, restaurants, boutiques and college students. Needless to say, it is a colorful area.
