Lost Canoe Lake
Driving on the back roads of Northern Wisconsin I found a place to pull over. Following a trail to the water there was this small beach with these canoes. This is an interesting area to explore with hidden areas like this, scenic structures and wonderful small towns.

Forest Park’s Jewel Box green house has three reflection pools which are filled with various types of lilies like these. The whole area was buzzing with Dragonflies so capturing on in a photo like this was not very difficult. Glory Hole
This is one of many waterfalls in Dogwood Canyon. Called the Glory Hole, it is a 2 mile walk from the entrance to the Nature Park. However, the walk is past many multi story and low waterfalls. Waterfalls
This is one of the many waterfalls at Big Cedar Lodge and Dogwood Canyon. It seems that nothing can be built in these two areas without adding a waterfall. Wisconsin Boathouse
In the 60’s, Wisconsin placed restrictions on boathouses in that state so they could not be rebuilt. The idea was to clear all of the lakes of boathouses over time as they deteriorated. Several weeks ago the governor of Wisconsin signed a law ending the draconian restrictions.
