Porsche
Photography at events such as a car show can be a problem. You have interesting subjects but backgrounds and people milling around can make it difficult to get a good shot. Here I used software that turns a photo in a painting allowing you to make everything look interesting. What do you think?
Lagonda
The St. Louis European Car Show held last weekend had hundreds of old and new sports cars. Here is a Lagonda which is a forerunner to the Aston Martin.
U City
I did not have to go too far for this photo! I live in University City and this is an area here called “The Loop,” an area filled with bars, restaurants, boutiques and college students. Needless to say, it is a colorful area.
Peacocks
A friends farm had a number of Peacocks wandering around. There were so many that I had to be careful not to run over one. David R. Francis
This is a monument marking the grave of David R. Francis. Francis is one of many prominent people buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery. He was Mayor of the City of St. Louis, Governor of Missouri and Secretary of the Interior. He may be best known as President of St. Louis’ 1904 World’s Fair. Signs of Spring
Are you ready for Spring?! In St. Louis it is a long time coming. However, lots for daffodils are in bloom along roads and in parks. Here is a nice little area in South St. Louis County.
